Nurken Mazbayev, head coach of Zhezkazgan's Ulytau, will continue to coach the team in the next KPL season.
Today, Ulytau officially announced the extension of its coach's contract. Nurken Mazbayev, 53, has been with the club since July 2025, replacing Ivan Azovsky. Mazbayev previously coached Taraz and Okzhetpes.
As a reminder, the Zhezkazgan team finished the Premier League season in tenth place and managed to maintain its place in the top division of Kazakhstani football.
